BlueBerry by Humanitas

Your practice assistant.

A quiet companion for the moments during a session — and the quiet ones between. Validated screenings, practical toolkits, and a place to hold what mattered.

How it's built

Two principles, defended.

Built for between sessions.

Most workflows assume an hour at a desk. BlueBerry assumes five to fifteen minutes between clients. Primary actions reach in two taps; flows fit on one screen. Long-form configuration lives on the web admin — not in the room with you.

Offline-first, by design.

Connectivity in a consulting room is not guaranteed. Reads work offline; writes queue locally and reconcile on reconnect. A feature that hard-fails without network is a bug, not a trade-off.

What's in the app

Three things, done well.

Screenings

Validated instruments, faithfully scored.

Administer, score, and severity-tag widely-used screening instruments — bundled offline, ready before a session starts.

Toolkits

Practical exercises, ready to share.

Grounding, psychoeducation, between-session prompts — picked for actually-helpful in the room, not for theatre. Curate what fits your practice.

Resources

Notes, links, and what mattered.

A quiet place to hold the things you'd otherwise lose between sessions. Synced, encrypted, yours.

Coverage at launch

What you can screen for.

Each instrument shipped with full scoring, severity bands, and clinician-facing interpretation guidance.

Includes well-known instruments such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, WHO-5, AUDIT-C, BAT-12, SDQ, and SMHAT-1 — used under their respective licences. Final launch bundle confirmed at release.

Practitioner questions

The things people ask first.

Is BlueBerry a medical device?

No. BlueBerry supports clinical practice but does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Any clinical interpretation is the practitioner's.

Do you train AI on practitioner notes or client data?

No. Your content is used only to operate the Service for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Where is data stored?

Primarily in the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt). Detail and the full subprocessor list live in the Privacy Policy.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Reads work offline; writes queue locally and reconcile when you reconnect. A consulting room without signal should not block you.

Can I export my data, or delete my account?

Both. Account deletion is available from the app and by email; portable export is available on request. See the Account deletion page.

Who is this for?

Wellness practitioners — registered counsellors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, coaches, and supervised practitioners-in-training.

Built by Humanitas — a Cape Town practice serving wellness professionals.
